If you’re a parent of little ones, you already know the challenge: finding fun toddler-friendly activities in Greenville, NC that actually keep kids entertained (without totally wearing you out in the process). With my own two- and four-year-old boys, I’ve discovered some great spots that are perfect for toddlers—and also enjoyable for parents. If you’re searching for things to do with toddlers in Greenville, NC, here are some of our favorite go-to activities:
1. NC Museum of Natural Sciences
We absolutely love this spot! It’s one of the best FREE activities to do with kids in Greenville. The museum has a little something for everyone, even the tiniest explorers. My boys can spend forever in the toddler play area, building and racing cars, pretending they’re on a submarine, or checking out the dinosaurs and planets. There’s even a few reptiles to peek at. We’ve been several times, and every trip feels like a new adventure.

2. Explore ECU’s Campus
We’re big Pirate fans, and our boys love everything about East Carolina University. From football and basketball games to just strolling around campus, there’s plenty for little ones to see and do. The “music steps” are a huge hit, spotting PeeDee the Pirate statues is a game in itself, and the Student Center makes for a fun stop. Pro tip: head to Chico’s Mexican Restaurant afterward for chips and queso — our family favorite!

3. Movie Theater
Looking for indoor activities for toddlers in Greenville, NC? The movie theater is a fun option. We love the AMC Theater and the Golden Ticket Cinemas. Our boys love a good movie (even if we only make it through an hour). During the summer, the theater plays kid-friendly films at a discounted rate — perfect for wiggly little ones and budget-friendly for parents.

4. Captain Jack’s Mini Golf
If your toddlers are into pirates, Captain Jack’s Mini Golf is a must. The course is full of fun ships and pirate-themed decorations that keep kids engaged. My boys aren’t exactly focused on keeping score, but they love exploring and pretending they’re on a real adventure.

5. Sprout’s Playground and Studio
Every parent needs a rainy-day backup plan, and Sprout’s Playground and Studio is ours. This indoor playground is designed for kids to climb, jump, and play safely while parents get a breather. There are creative play areas and toys that keep toddlers busy for a good stretch—something every parent can appreciate.

Whether you’re new to town or just looking for things to do with your toddlers in Greenville, NC with kids, these five activities are tried-and-true favorites for our family. From exploring dinosaurs at the museum to playing pirates at mini golf, Greenville has plenty of toddler-friendly fun waiting for you.
If you’re anything like me, you do all of these fun activities with your kids and take a million photos of them while you’re at it. BUT—you’re always behind the camera! If you want to actually be in the photos with your little ones (snuggles, giggles, and all), that’s exactly what I love helping families with.
